ProfHolod is taking the final step in developing its own draft standard for sandwich panels with polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation.
The company has been actively participating in the work of Technical Committee for Standardisation No. 144 “Construction Materials, Products, and Structures” (TC 144) for many years. ProfHolod joined the committee in 2018 — shortly after its establishment (in accordance with Rosstandart Order No. 1424 dated 29 June 2017).
What does TC 144 do?
Technical Committee No. 144 is responsible for developing and updating standards and other regulatory documents in the field of:
- construction and finishing materials;
- metal structures;
- wooden structures;
- mineral non‑metallic structures.
The committee’s work directly impacts the quality and safety of construction products in Russia, establishing uniform rules for the entire industry.
ProfHolod’s participation in TC 144
By participating in TC 144, ProfHolod not only keeps track of trends in standardisation but also contributes to shaping industry norms. Within the committee, we:
- receive draft standards, regulations, and codes of practice for evaluation and provide expert feedback;
- take part in discussions of new standard drafts, proposals to repeal or update existing regulations, and other matters during TC meetings;
- vote on draft standards, regulations, codes of practice, amendments to them, expert opinions, and other proposals;
- put forward initiatives to develop and update national and interstate standards within the TC’s scope of competence.
This approach ensures that the interests of sandwich panel and refrigerated door manufacturers are taken into account when new requirements and norms are being developed. It helps align industry standards with real‑world production capabilities and market needs, ultimately benefiting both manufacturers and end users.
At present, ProfHolod is developing its own draft standard for sandwich panels with polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation. Participation in TC 144 (Technical Committee No. 144) provides us with the opportunity to:
- draw on the experience of colleagues and regulators;
- take into account current market requirements;
- ensure that the future standard aligns with real‑world production processes.

ProfHolod’s participation in TC 144 is not just formal membership. It represents:
- a guarantee that our products comply with the requirements of the most up‑to‑date quality and safety standards;
- the opportunity to influence the development of norms, making them more practical and realistic for all manufacturers;
- a contribution to the advancement of the entire industry, which ultimately enhances confidence in Russian construction materials at the international level.
We continue to actively work within TC 144 to ensure that our customers continue to receive products that meet the highest standard requirements.
